radii restaurant & bar at Park Hyatt Melbourne has been named as Deluxe Restaurant of the Year at the 2016 Tourism Accommodation Australia (VIC) State Awards for Excellence.
On Wednesday 15 June, 2016, hoteliers from around Victoria came together to attend the 2016 TAA State Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, hosted at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. This prestigious event saw hoteliers, hospitality professionals and industry leaders come together to celebrate outstanding achievements within the industry.
radii restaurant & bar was announced as the winner of the Deluxe Restaurant of the Year award. This is the second time radii restaurant & bar received the award, in 2013 the restaurant was announced as winner of the category.
Upon receiving the award, Brett Sweetman, Hotel Manager commented; “this award is a great achievement for both radii restaurant & bar and Park Hyatt Melbourne. I would like to thank all of our associates for their hard work and commitment in obtaining this honor”.
Chef de Cuisine, Tyson Gee has been working closely with his team to take a different approach to fine dining at radii restaurant and is leading them in an exciting and innovative direction. Stepping away from a traditional three course meal, Chef Tyson serves guests dishes that are seasonally inspired, designed to share and full of flavour.
This year, Park Hyatt Melbourne was also recognized as a finalist for Rising Star of the Year, Excellence in Innovation, Hotel Club Lounge of the Year and Deluxe Accommodation Hotel of the Year.
